Art Stage Singapore: The Decoy of Indra by Prasert Yodkaew and Richard Streitmatter-Tran

1PROJECTS proudly presents the artist duo Prasert Yodkaew (Thailand) and Richard Streitmatter-Tran (Vietnam) who will collaborate on creating an installation based project at Art Stage Singapore that will span sculpture and drawing. At the core of the concept will be how shared narratives from long ago evolved into distinct new forms while still maintaining forensic traces of their origins - in this case, as they traverse Islamic and Buddhist cultures and how this syncretic approach is also found in the working methods of the two artists.
